Default Gaming Headset

I am looking for a headset but I don’t want to spend a lot on one. I have been looking around and its come down to these two. Can I get some help on choosing which headset to buy? Which one is better and why?

Second Choice

I'm going to take a stab at it and say that the second one picks up more noise than the first. The mic on the second is a bit more sensitive and its impedence ranges to higher frequencies, but the "features" don't mention it being "noise cancelling" like the first. From reading reviews I think it might however.

Both headsets apparently often have mic issues and hurt your ears as well. The first one has mixed reviews saying that the mic either works great or it picks up on background noise, has crappy bass, and/or dies fairly quickly. The second one has mixed reviews saying that it also either works great or picks up on background noise, but the many comments declaring that they have excellent noise cancelling seem to outweigh this. I went through page 5 and 4 of reviews for both headsets, and it looks like the second one may be your better budget headset, at least for what I'd be looking for.

I'd make sure to look at as many reviews possible for both headsets before making a decision, you'll probably get the best grasp of what to expect from there. (The Newegg reviews should do fine.)

I use this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106502

I have had no problems. It is built pretty sturdy, meaning I could drop it an nothing would happen. The only downside I can think of, is that the audio isn't the best. It is great for gaming, but if you are going to listen to music, this one isn't the best. Of course, I still listen to music on it, and I am fine with it, it just isn't the best.

I also love knowing it was $5, because if I broke it or something, I could always just get another one, lol.
